A Little Bit About Me
My name is Nicol Haycock, and I’m a South African-Canadian visual artist and social media marketer. Growing up as an immigrant in Canada and speaking three languages, I’ve always been captivated by how different cultures and languages shape communication. My passion for art and curiosity about the world inspired me to start travelling right after high school and eventually pursue a diploma in Graphic Design at UFV. I bring the knowledge from those experiences and journeys into everything I do.
My Work Experience
Over the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of companies across different industries. While managing the TikTok account for Havana Vancouver, I successfully reached a new audience that their other platforms hadn’t tapped into, resulting in increased social media engagement, reservations, and walk-in traffic. At Beyond Capture Studios, a motion capture studio, I created content that highlighted the motion capture process and showcased the potential of Unreal Engine, paving the way for future contracts.
